Liviu is originally fromTransylvania, Romania. He grew up in a devoted Christian family of ten in Tg. Mures.  He gave his life to Christ and got baptized in 1991, shortly after the "Iron Curtain" fell.

Liviu felt a call into ministry at the age of 20, when he became a part of a discipleship training school affiliated with Youth With A Mission--later to be sent into Bosnia in the aftermath of the Serbian war for a short mission trip.

In 2001, following a clear call from the Lord, he and his wife came to the U.S. to study.  While working on his Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition at Dallas Baptist University--which he finished in 2006--Liviu had served as a worship leader in several local churches in the DFW area.
The Lord had also been gracious in allowing him to finish his Master of Arts in Worship Leadership in 2007.  In November of 2010, he was called to be the music and youth minister at New Zion Baptist Church in Bonham, TX.
Liviu loves writing music and it is not uncommon for some of his songs to be heard in the regular Sunday morning worship.  He enjoys spending time with his family, running, rollerblading, and biking.
